When is the backup configuration on an IAP used?
A:
Upon executing "show config-status" we notice the below output which indicates that the IAP has both Primary and Backup configuration.
When configuration change is made via the WebUI or CLI, the changes are immediately copied to the Backup. However, when synchronizing via Airwave/Central, backup configuration will be reserved for 5 minutes. In case of any failure, the backup configuration will be restored or used by the IAP.
